Terms of Service
Last updated 7 August 2026
Plain terms for a simple service. “We” is Creative Viral Inc., which operates Unpixel at unpixelapp.com. “You” is anyone using it. Using the site means accepting these terms.
1. What the service is
Unpixel converts raster images you upload (PNG, JPG and similar) into vector files. It is software that runs on our servers, offered as a website. We do not distribute the converter itself.
2. The free preview
Anyone may upload an image and see the complete traced result at full quality, unwatermarked, with every control live, without an account and without paying. We may apply reasonable rate limits to keep the service available for everyone, and we may refuse or stop a request that is abusive or automated at a scale the free preview was not meant to carry.
3. The plan
Downloads and exports require an active subscription: $9.99 per month, in US dollars, charged by Stripe and renewing monthly until you cancel. Taxes may be added where required. There is no account and no password — the email address you pay with is the identity, and downloads unlock in the browser you subscribed in and in any browser you unlock with a one-time link sent to that address.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, without contacting us. Open Account → Manage billing; we email you a secure one-time link, and the click opens Stripe’s billing portal where you can cancel. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — downloads keep working until then, and nothing renews afterwards.
5. Price changes
If we change the price of the plan, the change applies from your next renewal and we will tell you by email before it takes effect. You can cancel before that renewal if you would rather not continue.
6. Refunds
A first subscription carries a 14-day no-questions refund. If you are within 14 days of your first payment and you want your money back, ask us on the support page and we will refund it. You do not have to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.
Beyond that window, and on renewals, payments are not refundable — cancelling stops the next charge, and clause 4 keeps your access to the end of the period you paid for. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
7. Your images and your files
Your artwork stays yours. You keep every right you had in the images you upload, and you own the vector files the service produces from them, for any use including commercial use. We claim no licence over them beyond the technical one needed to run the conversion and show you the result. What we do with the bytes while that happens is described in the privacy policy.
In return you confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload — that it is yours, or licensed to you, or otherwise lawful for you to convert. Converting an image does not give you rights in it that you did not already have.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not upload content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Do not attempt to break, probe, overload or circumvent the service, its rate limits or its paywall.
- Do not resell the service itself, or run it as the engine behind another product, without our written agreement.
- Do not use automated tools to consume the free preview at scale.
We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules. If we end a paid subscription for this reason we refund the unused part of the current period.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service up and to keep its output improving, but we do not promise a particular level of uptime, and we may change or withdraw features. If we discontinue the paid service entirely, we will stop charging and refund the unused part of your current period.
10. No warranty, and the limit of what we owe
The service is provided “as is”. Vectorization is a judgement about pixels, and not every image converts well — that is exactly why the complete preview is free and why you should look at it before subscribing. We do not warrant that a result will suit a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where the law does not allow such a limit, it does not apply to you.
11. Governing law
Creative Viral Inc. is incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, and is based in Vancouver. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer somewhere else, this does not take away the protections of your own country’s consumer law or your right to bring a claim there.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always says when. If a change materially affects a paying subscriber, we will say so by email before it takes effect.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms, refunds, or anything else go through the support page, which reaches us directly.
